Khalsa College celebrates Lohri with fervour

Mohali, January 13, 2014: Khalsa College in Phase 3-

A today celebrated Lohri at its campus with fervor. The occasion was marked by traditional songs and dances involving participation of students and teachers.

The students of the college also presented the famous Punjab folk dances Bhangra and Gidda. The college professors while informing the students about the significance of Lohri said the festival was celebrated in different parts of the country with enthusiasm.

The College principal Dr Harish Kumari extended Lohri wishes to the staff and students and later briefed the journalists that Lohri is celebrated every year in the college campus and Lohri was distributed to all those present at the festivities.
