advertising agencies, is now listed on the National Stock Exchange and Bombay
Stock Exchange (NSE: PRESSMN, BSE: 509077). Pressman Advertising, thus
has the distinction of being India’s first and only listed advertising agency.
Pressman Advertising was founded by late H.C. Suchanti and is best
known in the industry for its pioneering role in corporate and financial

Pressman Advertising is a debt-free agency with strong
fundamentals. As on 31st
March, 2013, its Reserves and Surplus stood at Rs.137.46 million on an Equity
Share Capital of Rs.46.97 million. For
the year ended 31st March 2013, Pressman posted a Net Profit of
Rs.62.88 million and paid a dividend of 40%.
In the first quarter ended 30th June 2013, the Company
reported a Net Profit of Rs.20.20 million.
The promoter
group holds around 75 per cent of the agency’s equity while the remaining 25
per cent is spread over nearly 26,000 shareholders. Over 50% of Pressman staff hold shares in the
Company.
