Khalsa College celebrates Lohri with needy children
Mohali, January 14, 2015: Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies, Phase 3 A  organised a function on the occasion of Lohri. While there was enthusiasm among students, NSS volunteers visited village Mataur and celebrated the festival with needy children. The children were distributed groundnuts, gazzak and rewaris.
The principal of the college, Dr. Harish Kumari while speaking on the occasion wishes happiness and success to the students. She said the girl child should be welcomed in homes and there should be celebrations when a girl or boy child is born.
Traditional songs were sung to mark the occasion besides regional dances to make it colourful. The students sung the song sundar mundriya and worshipped for the wellbeing of poor.

खालसा कालेज मोहाली में एनुअल स्पोर्टस डे का आयोजन खेल इंसान - खिलाड़ी को अनुशासन में रहना सिखाते हैं:प्रिंसीपल हरीश कुमारी
मोहाली 4 मार्च 2016। मोहाली स्थित खालसा कालेज (अमृतसर) आफ टेक्नोलॉजी एैंड बिजनेस स्टैडीज में आज एनुअल स्पोर्टस डे का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान कॉलेज के विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न तरह की खेलों में बढ़ चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया। इस दौरान 100 मीटर रेस, 200 मीटर रेस, थ्री-लेग रेस,लैमन रेस,सैक रेस,शॉट-पुट,लौंग जंप,स्लो-साईकलिंग, टेबल टैनिस , टग ऑफ वार, क्रिकेट व वॉलीवाल इत्यादि खेलों में कॉलेज के खिलाड़ी लड़कियों व लडक़ों ने पूरे उत्साह के साथ भाग लेकर अपना बेेहतरीन प्रदर्शन दिखाया। 
खेल प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कालेज कैंपस ग्राउंड में सुबह 10 बजे से शुरू हुआ जो कि शाम तक जारी रहा। इस दौरान प्रतियोगिता में अवल रहे छात्र-छात्राओं को कॉलेज की प्रिंसीपल हरीश कुमारी ने पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया गया।

Gender Sensitization Workshop at Khalsa College
Mohali, March 11, 2016: Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies today organised a workshop of gender sensitization. The workshop was organised to mark the International Women’s Day.
The function was held under the chairmanship of college principal Dr. Harish Kumari in collaboration with Indian Council of Social Welfare, Punjab in which college students took part in large numbers. Meanwhile ICSW chairman Satwant Boparai, organizing secretary Surjit Kaur and resource person Dr. Ritu Lahal and Naina Sharma also participated and talked about gender sensitization.

Khalsa College holds Inter-College Fest
Mohali, February 26, 2016:Khalsa College (Amritsar) of Technology and Business Studies, Phase 3A today held an inter-college fest, Hunar 2016. A total of 15 colleges from the region participated in the fest. The chief guest on the occasion was Dr. Satish Verma, former Dean, Culture Welfare, Punjabi University.
Among several competitions held today included


Mehandi competition, Collage Making, Poster Making, Slogan writing,Mimicry, Turban Tying, Clay Modelling, Kite Flying and several technical activities, in which students participated with enthusiasm.

The chief guest while speaking on the occasion lauded the efforts of the college in promoting such activities. College Principal Dr. Harish Kumari highlighted on the need to be tech savvy while speaking on the occasion. Among others present were Satyajit Singh Majithia, Fest Organising Secretary and Chief Patron, and Rajinder Singh Chhina, Patron
